Never leave ‘hope’
Though trapped in a hole,
For ‘hope’ is the things with wings
that flicker in the soul.

Though the storm is angry,
The wind may prove to be a boon,
just don’t leave ‘hope’,
And you may be saved soon.

Life may be chilled without any fun,
but don’t forget,
Hope has the power,
to bring back the sun.

I had a little nut – tree,

And nothing would it bear,

But a silver apple,

And a golden pear.

The king of Spain’s daughter,

Came to visit me,

All for the sake of my little nut – tree.

Mary had a little lamb,

Its fleece was white as snow.

Everywhere that Mary went,

Mary went, Mary went,

Everywhere that Mary went,

The lamb was sure to go.

RING A RING A ROSES

Ring a ring a roses

pocket full of posies,

A-tishoo! A-tishoo!

We all fall down.

ME AN APPLE

If I were an apple,

and grew in a tree;

I think I’d drop down,

on a nice boy like me.

EARLY TO BED

Early to bed,

And early to rise,

Makes a man healthy,

wealthy and wise.

HICKORY, DICKORY, DOCK

Hickory, Dickory, dock,

the mouse ran up the clock;

the clock struck one,

the mouse ran down,

hickory dickory dock.

The cat in the cupboard,

And can’t see me.

THE CAT

Here’s a little cat,

looking fine and fat,

sitting on a mat,

playing with a hat,

give the cat a pat,

she’ll be pleased with that.

ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE

One, two,three,four, five,

once I caught a fish alive,

Why did you let it go?

Because it bit my finger so.
